Strokes of Genius

Miura makes precision-forged and hand-ground low-carbon mild-steel wedges with a hand-polished chrome finish in the family’s factory in Himeji, Japan. The company’s New Wedge Series improves on its old series design and now offers odd-numbered lofts (from 51 to 59 degrees), as well as redesigned bounce angles that, in combination with the leading edge, should give golfers solid impact and distance control. Players will notice that simple chip shots land soft and flop shots tend to be much more controllable with these clubs. And face it, we can all use a little help to shave some strokes off our game.
