Sit Down and Stay Awhile

Lafuma originally specialized in backpack making, supplying the French Army with backpacks dating back to 1940. The first Lafuma folding camp stool was part of a larger camping line launched in 1954, 24 years after three French brothers started the company. We can only imagine how useful—and revolutionary—that folding campstool was in the ’50s, and hope it was sitting next to a sparkling new Airstream travel trailer. Eighty years in, the company has expanded its outdoor line to include everything from backpacks to mobile applications, but the company stays true to its beginnings, with eco-friendly products and a commitment to the environment. The camping stool has kept true to its traditional design with modern upgrades: a UV-resistant, Batyline mesh fabric seat is supported by a steel frame. Weighing just three pounds, the Lafuma folding campstool is easy to store and take on any outdoor adventure. Now all you need is that Airstream. Dreamy.
