Bluesmart Black Edition Luggage
A bag that’s smart enough to be tracked, weighed, locked, and unlocked via Bluetooth on your phone
Your phone is smart. Shouldn’t your luggage be too?
Remember that era when phones were not smart? The mere idea of walking around with one of those “dumb” phones sounds crazy to most of us. Imagine a luggage that has all the bells and whistles so you can track it and weigh it using an app on your phone; luggage that has a USB port so you can charge your tablet or phone while in transit, and that you can lock or unlock remotely. Now, that would be a smart luggage. And Bluesmart is the company behind the idea.
Bluesmart’s latest product is the Black Edition carry-on bag, an update to the first iteration, the Bluesmart One. Launched in May 2016, the Black Edition features a sleek black look with upgraded materials and a redesigned interior, which is small but perfect for an overnight trip. Going through security is made easier thanks to the bag’s readily accessible padded compartments for a tablet and laptop.
Wondering if your bag is within airline weight limits? You can weigh it via the app and the built-in weigh sensors on the bag. You can also set your Bluesmart app preferences so that your phone alerts you should you get separated from your bag. A TSA-approved, Bluetooth-enabled remote locking with auto-distance locking gives you additional peace of mind. If your Bluesmart goes missing you can track its location by GPS and 3G SIM card based communication system (Bluesmart has a partnership with Telefonica). Last but not least is the USB charger with 10K mAh capacity, which is enough to charge your phone or tablet. No more watching your phone die at your gate’s waiting area as everyone else vies for the one outlet in the room.
